Herman Stopped by Jacare

Ed Herman stepped into the Strikeforce arena to take on former champion Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza for the promotion's final event. It was not the result that Ed was looking for when he tapped in the first round to a Kimura. But Herman deserves credit for taking a fight that many other UFC fighters declined. Always a fan favorite, Ed will be back to entertain the UFC crowds soon!

Herman Makes His Strikeforce Debut!

Ed Herman will be making a big leap into new waters when he brings his UFC credentials to test the chin of Strikeforce's former middleweight champion Ronaldo Souza at Strikeforce: Marquardt vs Saffiedine on January 12th in Oklahoma City. Shields Outlasts Herman Rally

It took some time for Ed Herman to find his rhythm against grappling ace Jake Shields at UFC 150. After two rounds fighting from the bottom, Ed kept the fight standing in the third round and bullied the visibly tired Shields. But after a tough three rounds Herman fell short on the judges' scorecards.

This is an awesome, awesome match-up. Jake Shields is one of the toughest fighters that Ed Herman has faced and the two warriors have styles that should lead to plenty of action and fireworks. Ed never disappoints and is ready to bring the brutal reality of the UFC to his opponent!
